L'applicazione di tecniche sperimentali non intrusive e di notevole interesseper la comprensione dei meccanismi alla base dei fenomeni di transizioneindotti da rugosita superficiali in regime ipersonico. Nella tesi, latermografia all'infrarosso, la PIV planare e tomografica sono stateutilizzate. Tali tecniche mostrano ottime potenzialita nel quantificare le piurilevanti caratteristiche del moto a monte e a valle di rugositatridimensionali. In particolare, nel testo sono riportate e discusse le primemisure non intrusive del campo di moto bidimensionale e tridimensionale.
The application of non-intrusive experimental techniques is of particular interest for understanding the mechanisms underlying the transition phenomena induced by surface roughness in Hypersonic. In the thesis, infrared thermography, the Planar and tomographic PIV have been used. These techniques show excellent potential in quantifying the most relevant characteristics of the bike backwards and forwards three dimensional roughness. In particular, in the text are shown and discussed the first non-intrusive measures of 2D and 3D flow field.
